2nd Renewable Energy Conference - Weather Enterprise
Pathways to a renewable Energy Economy
AGENDA
Conference Objectives
The Weather Enterprise plays a pivotal role in advancing and integrating renewable energy resources. Weather and climate not only influence where and how solar and wind systems are deployed, but also directly affect the grid’s electricity demand and delivery capacity. This interdependence is complex—and will become even more critical as renewable energy accounts for a larger share of the power mix.
This conference will explore key questions, including:
What role should the weather enterprise play in supporting renewable energy expansion, and who are the essential stakeholders?
Which innovations and partnerships are needed to ensure a sustainable transition to the Green Energy Economy?
What are the primary concerns and challenges facing different stakeholders as they navigate this transformation?
How do challenges vary across renewable energy technologies—such as solar, land-based wind, offshore wind—as well as energy storage and grid integration?
How can we ensure an equitable and reliable energy future amid a warming climate and more frequent extreme weather events?
