Colin Tareila, Executive Vice President of Asset Operations, Key Capture Energy
Colin Tarelia is the Executive Vice President of Asset Operations at Key Capture Energy (KCE), a leading independent power producer specializing in utility-scale battery storage projects that support a more advanced, reliable, and resilient electric grid.
At KCE, Colin oversees the teams responsible for the dispatch and market optimization of the company’s battery energy storage assets, as well as the physical operations and maintenance that keep those assets running safely and effectively.
Prior to joining KCE, Colin spent more than a decade at AWS Truepower and later UL Solutions, where he led the North America Renewables business.
He holds an MBA from the Berkeley Haas School of Business, a Master’s in Power Systems Engineering from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Lafayette College.
